Having no budget for interior decor for years, has taught me a thing or two about changing the decor in my home without spending too much money.
It is quite necessary to spruce up one's decor from time to time. Not only for the sake of variety but also for the satisfaction that comes from a recently updated decor.
Here are four things you can do.
1. Add or change your throw pillows.
Throw pillows are an easy way to update your decor. There are varieties of pillows in varying shapes, sizes, colors and fabrics. One way to be able to update your pillows is by having multiple pillow covers in contrasting fabric that you can change intermittently. Go for personalized throw pillows for that cozy atmosphere, they can be easily DIYed.
2. Use flowers everywhere
Flowers in vibrant colors are a great way to update your decor. From natural flowers to their synthetic counterparts, twigs and greenery, the Possibilities are endless. If you are a DIYer, flowers are very easy to make.
3. Picture frames
A rearrangement or addition of picture frames in any decor will do wonders. To create a more effect, a gallery wall can be made or an existing one rearranged. Picture frames can also be spray painted the same color for uniformity which usually had a dramatic effect on any decor
4. Wall art
Wall art need not be expensive, as art is quite subjective. Wall art can be made from a myriad of inexpensive materials like fabric, scrap Wallpaper etc. All you need is a frame and a healthy dose of creativity.
So there you have it, four ways to inexpensively update your decor!
Stay blessed.
